Children are the future of our nation and it is our utmost duty to ensure a promising life for our future generation. But the recent Global Hunger Index report released by the International Food Policy and Research Institute (IFPRI) shows that India is among the worst performers on the fronts of hunger and malnutrition as compared to its neighbouring countries. According to UNICEF, a whopping 8.8 lakh children in India under the age of six died in the year 2018.

hough India is progressing in all fronts but health sector is still being neglected as the development of any nation is reckoned with the development of health status of that country.

In one hand, the scourge of poverty, poor health, malnutrition and insecure future many disadvantaged children in our society and on the other, the mental stress coupled with depression on children due to Covid-19 pandemic has put vulnerable girl children more susceptible to various social vices like child abuse, child labour, school drop-out, substance abuse, crime etc.

Having realized the pathetic situation of girl children, Life Care Foundation ( LCF ) has decided to invest in girl children in need through its flagship Girl Child Sponsorship Program to witness a promising future for vulnerable children in our society.

What we do?

In response to the immediate need of marginalized girl children in our society, we, at Life Care Foundation ( LCF) would like introduce Girl Child Sponsorship Program to address prevailing burning issues of child’s malnutrition, hunger, health & hygiene, school drop outs, child labour, access to health services, abuse, safety & protection through introduction of holistic development initiative of children to advocate childhood for every child.
