Mr. Bangerwal established LCF with a clear mission, to ensure that no child goes to bed hungry. His leadership has transformed LCF into a trusted organization that combines compassion with action, serving thousands of families and children across communities.

M.A. in Sociology from Garhwal University, giving him a strong understanding of social structures, inequality, and community development. Bachelor of Divinity (B.D.) from the Senate of Serampore College, West Bengal, grounding his work in values of faith, ethics, and service. This unique combination of sociology and divinity has enabled him to approach social work with both analytical insight and spiritual compassion. Experience in Social Work 25+years Spearheaded initiatives in child welfare, hunger eradication, education, and healthcare.

Deepak Kumar

Deepak firmly believes that children are the foundation of every nation’s growth and development aspirations. His conviction that children must remain at the centre of any development discourse inspired him to dedicate his career to the social sector. After a successful stint in the corporate world, Deepak made a purpose-driven transition to the social sector in 2012, joining LCF. This move reflected his passion for creating meaningful change and his desire to align professional work with social impact.

Currently serves as the Vice President of LCF, works full-time to manage all donations and fundraising efforts, ensuring transparency, accountability, and maximum impact. Plays a key role in strategic planning, donor engagement, and program sustainability. Over the years, Deepak has helped channel resources to initiatives that directly improve the lives of children. His leadership has strengthened LCF’s ability to support education, healthcare, and child welfare programs.

Mona Samuel: Director – Resource Generation

A graduate in Economics and a diploma holder in travel and tourism, Yamini’s professional journey began in the telecom industry. Over the past two decades, she’s contributed her expertise to companies like Koshika, Essar, Hutchison, and Vodafone, excelling in roles related to Customer Service, Revenue Assurance, and Marketing. Mona Samuel firmly believes in the limitless potential within every person, a belief that drives her passion for making a positive impact on the lives of children and creating happier childhoods.
